After the Party

 Just playing a bit more with Ren and Reaghan today. I thought since she wore a red dress to the "party" that it would be a fun chance for her to show off this red lingerie I got from Iple back when they first introduced the FID line. Well you can't see it that well in the first shot...........but keep scrolling.

This size is SO much easier to pose together than my big dolls! And I have to say these two just seem to belong together.

Elegant but Lethal

 I've been reading Lauren Gilley's Sons of Rome series of books lately and they have inspired me to play around with a few of my guys being more than they seem on the surface. Today I put Raccoon Doll Ken in contemporary clothing and photographed him to try and get a feel for who I really want him to be.

I bought him with intentions of using him in my "Glade" world (link over in the sidebar to that blog), but I'm thinking he may be a bit more than that persona now. He is very elegant.

He also definitely has an "otherworldness" about him as well. I have a few ideas swirling around in my head for him as well as a few of my other dolls. I think for now I'll continue to play with him and photograph him and see what else he tells me.  Other than being more than what he seems, he's keeping his cards pretty close to his vest for now.

Dressing Up

Ren and Reaghan dressing up a bit for the holidays. 

As I was looking for something appropriate for Reaghan to wear I realized I don't have too many "dressy" clothes for my FID/RD sized ladies in a contemporary style. I need to remedy that a bit in the coming year. Ren is wearing the Raccoon doll resin shoes, which I love. I might have to go back and get them in brown as well.

I hadn't really planned on these 2 being a couple, but I may rethink that as I really do like them together quite a lot! I know I say this every year, and I didn't do too well at it in 2020, but I want to add very few dolls in 2021, and concentrate on clothing and accessories for the ones I already have. I love the FID/RD size, but I already have quite a lot of them and don't want to get so many that I don't really enjoy all the ones I have.

Morning Walk

 I got this adorable skirt from my friend Robyn of Period Threads and had to dress Lara up and take her out for some photos. Her sweater and jacket are from my Tonner Matt dolls. I crocheted the hat a while back.

A Mishmash of Knits

 Took Maeve out this morning to enjoy the fall morning in a mishmash of different knits. I did the hat and scarf. Her dress is by SartoriaJ, leggings by Dollmore and cute crocheted boots by HelenDollClothes on Etsy.

I love all the colors of fall. My favorite time of year, partly because the knits come out. I love the crisp feel to the air in the mornings as well.

I need to remember how I crocheted these beanies so I can do some more in different colors.

Fall Stroll

 Some time outside for Damien and Lara. They are both wearing JeansbyJenna. He is in a SartoriaJ sweater and she is in an older MSD sweater I've had for a while.

I love everything about fall.

Spur of the Moment

My spur of the moment purchase arrived today....................She was in the latest round of Iple auction dolls. She kept drawing my eye every time I went to the Iple web site, so the night before the auction was ready to end I put in a bid for the lowest amount thinking I would probably be outbid. However the  next morning when I woke up I found out she was mine. I love Mari anyway, and there is just something about this one that really grabs me.

She is trying out the Masterpiece eyes I got in size 6/7mm. They work really well on her. Nice to have another source of eyes for these dolls. 

Looking forward to playing with her more to see how she will fit in my crew.  have a couple of ideas.
