I got both of my smaller Jude's in front of the camera together this past weekend. The guy on the left, who I'll just call Jude for now, is the LeStat Jude head that was released before SartoriaJ did their own bodies for their heads. He was made to fit the Iplehouse FID line bodies, and he's on a FID Muscle body in realskin. His head color is amber beige. Lobo, who I've named the guy on the right is on the SartoriaJ 51cm pose body. He is in amber beige as well, but the formula has changed slightly since LeStat Jude's release.
Raccoon Dolls, Iple FID and SartoriaJ mini's in their "everyday" lives. I like to think of my dolls in this size as dolls in the stories I tell in my head, who can fit into any role available to them. Most of my dolls this size are typically used in my "In the Glade" world (linked in sidebar). This blog gives me a chance to do something different with them, and dress them in contemporary clothing. I do have some "superernatural" characters here that are more prominent here than in the Glade

Comparisons
The newer amber beige resin is slightly redder than the older SJ amber beige, and the Iplehouse normal realskin. You can see the difference a bit better in the comparison shot of the hands here. Iple on the left. SartoriaJ on the right. SartoriaJ incorporated the wrist crescents for their line, like Iplehouse does.
I'm really pleased with the SartoriaJ body. The lines are beautiful. He is slightly taller than the Iple muscle body. He is very close in height to the Raccoon Doll males. I will try to get a shot of all 3 lines together at a later date. He fits right in with both the Iple and Raccoon Doll lines. I'm glad I got him. I look forward to what else SartoriaJ has in store for us!

Interesting, Jackie. Both your Jude dolls are simply gorgeous! I have already ordered another Jude, this time in amber beige. My espresso Jude has a slight reddish tinge over Iple’s light brown, too. Such a fabulous sculpt and body!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathryn! I was tempted by Elf Jude, but restrained myself, lol.
