I got a package from SartoriaJ not long ago with some outfit pieces that I hoped would work for Micha (RD Ken). The measurements of the Raccoon Men are close to the SJ men, and their height is much closer than the Iple/RD's. I'm happy to report all the clothing pieces I got are a very good fit for Micha. I took this shot of him in the vest and shirt minus coat several weeks ago.
Raccoon Dolls, Iple FID and SartoriaJ mini's in their "everyday" lives. I like to think of my dolls in this size as dolls in the stories I tell in my head, who can fit into any role available to them. Most of my dolls this size are typically used in my "In the Glade" world (linked in sidebar). This blog gives me a chance to do something different with them, and dress them in contemporary clothing. I do have some "superernatural" characters here that are more prominent here than in the Glade

An Eye Change
Long time no post.............I've been in small doll world. I collect many different sizes of dolls, and while the Asian BJD's have been my main focus the past several years I do love lots of different sizes of fashion dolls. I did however take advantage of Masterpiece's eye sale a couple of week ago and order a size up on the " Afghan" eyes for Maeve. I originally put in size 6/7mm eyes, but while happy with the color I was never happy with the size, they made her look startled. The iris was just too small for her eye well. Her new 7/8mm eyes came in last week so I changed them out, and I'm much happier. Here she is with the new size.
